I have inherited an 8 page document with the first 4 pages just text with
some .jpg images inserted, while page 5 (section break, next page - from portrait to landscape with a section break inserted at the end of this page to go back to portrait) the error appears "the margins in section 2 are outside of the printing area. Would you like to fix this error or continue printing" If I say no, the page will print (consistently) with a margin of 2.67" which cuts off either the graphic or the text. If, however, I select the text on this page and select "print selected text" it will print perfectly. I have copied each individual page into a new document and it still will ask the same question. And again, if I select file, print, scale page "zoom, 8 1/2"X 11", it will give me the same error message. I can print this page from the existing document and from the new "copied" document if I select the text on the page and select "file, print - selected text" it prints perfectly. This has been driving me crazy. I know how to print the document, but it is not "my" document so that when I send it to the approver I have to send instructions on how to print it. This is NOT satisfactory. I should mention that this has happened on several other documents when another person has sent a document to the color HP laser jet printer and had this happen, then I tell them to send it to me and it prints perfectlly for me. I am at wits end. Can anyone help me with this problem? Has this occured to anyone else? thanks all - you have always been the solution to the "pulling my hair out" crazies! -- To enjoy the flavor of life, take big bites. Moderation is for monks! |
