I wrote a word document (originally 6.0) with lots of photos, insets and text
boxes. When moving to word 2000 the layout was messed up. So I grouped those insets and textboxes and pictures. Now the insets that are grouped do not print. When I ungroup them they print but their placement is uncontrollable. Is this a bug??? |

Hi ?B?V2lsbGlhbQ==?=,
I wrote a word document (originally 6.0) with lots of photos, insets and text boxes. When moving to word 2000 the layout was messed up. So I grouped those insets and textboxes and pictures. Now the insets that are grouped do not print. When I ungroup them they print but their placement is uncontrollable. Is this a bug??? More likely a problem with converting the file format; the internal structures are probably a bit "shaky". Best would be to recreate the document, using a new document generated from a Word 2000 Normal.dot template (not from a Normal.dot migrated from Word 6.0).
