Default IT Tech needs help on Word


I am looking for information to the following:

I have a lady using Word, she has approx. 7 pages of text, all first 6
pages allow text modifications 7th will act like it is changing but the
cursor and mouse pointer disappears. You can see mouse pointer all
around the page but NOT on the text page, this locks up Word and have
to Cntl-Alt-Delete to end process. any ideas what could be wrong?

Best guess would be damage in the internal, binary file structures. If
she uses Insert/File to bring this document into a new document, does the
problem persist in the new document?
