Default Open read-only files in viewer

Hello,

is it possible to configure word or the viewer in such a way that word
documents which are to be opened read-only open in the viewer instead
of word (both word and viewer are installed on the PC)?

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

Not from within the viewer. You'd need to
use a policy or another method in Windows to restrict
that if you're not controlling Word with IRM.
