How many undoes in Word?
How many undoes does one have in Word?
I train and like to be able to tell the students how many in each application. I know that Excel has 16 undoes, PowerPoint from 3-150, but I'm not so sure about Word. Is there a set number and/or maximum number of undoes in Word? Any answers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Jugglertwo |

The number of Undo operations in Word is limited only by available memory

Thanks! Jugglertwo The article at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=211489 doesn't specifically mention the Undo feature. From observation, though, there is no specific number; it depends on the amount of available memory and the complexity of the steps that are stored. I know I've seen upwards of 3000 entries. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org |
