![]() I have tried fill in fields. I have tried what you are taking about, but the problem is that I do not want to be prompted to the very same information more than once. You see the outline that I am trying to do has a course tilte in the main page and then it is also reflected on the other pages but only that it is mentioned on the footers of the pages. Can I just insert one field that would fill that information in all specific locations at once? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Have you tried inserting a field? (i.e., "ASK" or "FILLIN"?) or - set it up as a merge document with an attached table where you can fill in the information? Just a thought. Yes - there are other ways. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I currently have an outline template, but would like to add a macro that would, before I open the template would prompt me to enter information that will be reflected on the document. Some of that information would include the title of the subject and maybe a brief summary of the subject. I have tried the fill-in merge field, Unfortunately in order to do it that way I would have to add multiple fields into the template just to add them to the other locations where the title of the subject applies including "headers & footers" can any one help. It is just that typing this simple kind of information in various locations in the document is very tedious when you deal with a large volume of them. -- lionroar |
