Hello,
i have word 2000, & use the "document map" view a lot in my work. when i send my files to my colleague, who uses word 2003, he always finds the document map disabled, although i save the file with the map on. i don't have this problem with other people who use the 2000 version like myself. anyone knows how to overcome this problem? it will really save us time, as we exchange files very frequently. thnx |

Word 2003 does not "remember" whether Document Map was turned on. This
appears to be by design. One way to force it to be on would be to include an AutoOpen macro in the document itself that turns Document Map on. Of course, getting the macro to fire would depend upon his security settings, how the macro is signed, etc. -- Herb Tyson MS MVP Please respond in the newsgroups so everyone can follow along. http://www.herbtyson.com "Leo81" wrote in message ...
