The document was generated in Word 2000. I opened it in Word 2003. When I
got about a third of the way through reviewing/revising the document, I clicked into a paragraph to make a revision and was immediately thrown out of Word. I had this same problem with other documents generated in Word 2000 and opened in Word 2003 yesterday. How can I correct this so I can continue to revise the document? |

Hi ?B?ZGVsdGFqYW5l?=,
The document was generated in Word 2000. I opened it in Word 2003. When I got about a third of the way through reviewing/revising the document, I clicked into a paragraph to make a revision and was immediately thrown out of Word. I had this same problem with other documents generated in Word 2000 and opened in Word 2003 yesterday. How can I correct this so I can continue to revise the document? From the sound of it, the document is damaged somewhere. Do you have access to the Word 2000 system where the document was created? And can it be edited successfully on this system? What about saving the document in Word 2003 to XML format, closing, opening it again? Are you then able to work in the problem area?
