Default overlapped words

Hi All:

I have encountered a problem. Two words are overlopped but only one word
can be seen on the screen. But when they are printed out, the hidden one
also can been seen, resulting two words both can be seen but overlapped.
What is this problem and how we can fix it? Thanks.

Sounds like it may be some structural damage in the document. If you select
that entire paragraph, copy it to the Clipboard, then use Edit/Paste Special
and paste it back in as plain text, do things change?

Hi Cindy:

It does not work. Even though I delete the visible word, the hidden one (I
can not see on the screen) is stuck there and when I print out, the hidden
word will come out.

Do you see the hidden word in Web Layout view? We've seen some instances of
stuff being added as a "background" or in some cases hidden in XML.
