Is anyone aware of a keyboard shortcut to insert the current date as a "hard
date" in a document? I don't want to insert a date field that automatically updates with the current dat when the file is opened. Thanks |

Alt+Ctrl+G inserts the default date choice in Word 2003. What version are
you running? ******************* ~Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com www.MyExpertsOnline.com "PingelskiK" wrote in message ... Alt+Ctrl+G does nothing here. You must have created this as an AutoText
entry or the like and assigned that keyboard shortcut. -- Suzanne S. And I am telling you that this is not standard; you must have added it. If I
go to Tools | Customize | Keyboard and enter Alt+Ctrl+G, it comes up "[unassigned]." I suspect that if you start Word in Safe Mode, you will find that your shortcut does not work. -- Suzanne S.
