Default How do I limit form fields so they don't pass the form margins.

I created a form and added form fields. When I lock the document and type in
the fields, the margins are pushed, even though it should be locked. How can
I have it return when it reaches the edge and begin a new line?
Thanks!

It shouldn't extend beyond the margin unless you have negative indents,
Cindy. Double-check that. Just click in each margin that seems to be
"extending" and hit Format--Paragraph. Make sure your left and right
indents are NOT negative numbers. In other words, if you're right indent
was -2", that means you can type 2" beyond the right-hand margin, which
shouldn't be allowed.

Thanks, Anne!
I did have a negative margin. I corrected that, but it still pushes the
outside border of the table off the page if I keep typing without manually
using a carriage return. I had hoped it would automatically go to the next
line. If I delete what I typed, it moves the border back into the correct
place. What was interesting is that it keeps extending the border as long as
I type, but if I start deleting the text, the border moves back to the
correct position and stops. It does not continue to move and shrink to the
left!

This suggests that you have "Auto fit to contents" enabled.
