I am trying to alter the looks of a TOC in an existing document by the
following steps: 1) Right-click on TOC and select "Edit Field". 2) With field name "TOC", click on "Table of Contents..." button. 3) Select "......." from the dropdown list box of Tab Leader, which can be found below the checkbox for "Right align page number" item. 4) Click on OK button. The selected Tab Leader is not reflected in the TOC after it is "updated". |

Don't edit the field. Select ONE item in the TOC, hit Format--Tabs and make
your change there. The TOC styles are set to automatically update, so if you change one, all others at the same level should change. ******************* ~Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com www.MyExpertsOnline.com "teoskuan" wrote in message ...
