Default Drop down box does not show arrow

I am trying to create a template in Word 2003 that has drop down boxes. I
have inserted the drop down list from the Forms toolbar and populated it with
the info that I want, but no arrows are showing, the only thing that appears
is the first item from my list. Even if I tab to it no arrows show and I
can't select another item. What am I doing wrong? Please help!

Thank you very much,

Justina

Default

did you lock the form before saving it? form fields won't work unless you
lock the form, and then when you open the document, the cursor will be in
the first form field by default.
