Suddenly, a blank horizontal line is appearing at the end of text boxes and
again at the end of the document. It spans the width of the box or document. Any idea why or how to remove it? |

It sounds like your Normal paragraph style has a bottom border. Select the whole document, go to Format Borders & Shading, make sure the Apply To box says "Paragraph", and click None. If it happens in all new documents, this may be yet another strange case of the "blank document not blank" problem, but with formatting instead of text. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...ocNotBlank.htm for ways of dealing with it. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org |
