Default How do I add more different sets of option buttons to Word?

I would like to add two sets of Options using the option buttons and forms in
Word. For example one option would be whether a respondent is male or female
and the next would be whether the respondent is say, young or old. When I
have one set of options, i.e. male or female it works. However, when I add
the second set of option buttons, it remains connected to the first set and
when I select say Young it also removes the first button selection, say
Female.
