In my font drop down box, some are blacked out and can't be read..
I opened Word and Excel today only to find that I cannot read most of my
fonts in the drop-down box. If I know the name of the font I want, I can type it in and it can be used. I just don't know what happened to being able to view them. If I use Word Art, they appear fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

On the Options tab of Tools | Customize, clear the check box for "List font
names in their font." This will solve the immediate problem. Later you can try reenabling this option to see if the problem recurs. -- Suzanne S.
