I will try to explain my problem as clearily as possible.
I have been creating objects, mostly WordArt, that has two or more elements to them. I know how to select multiple objects and group them together so I can move them together. My problem is if I wish to make any changes I cannot select the object anymore. All I get is the type cursor with what looks like either vertical or horizontial alignment hatchmarks. I originally began this document at work which I'm certain is Word 2002 as well. If a group of objects were created at work I can select the group and ungroup, but if I select all objects and group them back again they now become unselectable. I hope this makes sense. |

On the Drawing toolbar try turning on the "Select Objects" command and
see if that allows you to select the group. Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Thanks Beth,
I didn't have the select arrow (beside the Draw tab) selected. Without it selected it would work with some objects but not others. Thanks again.
