PCL XL error
I created labels in word via mailmerge. the labels view fine...but this is
what prints instead of lables: PCL XL error Subsystem: KERNEL Error: MissingAtribute Operator: BeginPage Position: 4 |

First, ensure you are using the most up-to-date driver for your printer.
Does it make any difference if you output the labels to a new document first (i.e.click the "Edit Recipient List" in the pane 5 of the Merge Wizard task pane), then print that document. Thanks for your response, here is what made it work:
I changed my printer ICON in the printer folder from HP Laser Jet 3300 Series PCL 6 to ...Series PS. I've used the former with no issues until trying to print the labels so I'm not sure why it worked. Here is my current issue! When I merge the 600 labels, how do I print more than one sheet at a time? Currently, I have to move to the next sheet (and each sheet is page 1) in order to print them. Glad you found a solution. I think a similar issue has popped up once or
twice with HP PCL/Postscript printers but know nothing more than that. When I merge the 600 labels, how do I print more than one sheet at a time? Currently, I have to move to the next sheet (and each sheet is page 1) in order to print them. You probably need to "complete the merge" - in Word 2002/2003 go to the very last step in the Mail Merge Wizard task pane and either "Print...", or "Edit Individual Labels", which creates an output document which you can then print. At the moment I would guess that you are "previewing the labels" and using File|Print to try to print them. Peter Jamieson "David Fahrmann" wrote in message ...
