The problem is beginning to get annoying, so here it is.

Windows System: XP
Office Version: XP(2002)
Patches and Security Fixes: All up-to-date.

When I open Word I get a blank document. No problem here. I can open a
document and still not have a problem.

The problem is when Word is NOT open and I double click a document I get a
Default Beep sound while Word is loading. It is as if something is erroring
out that Word is trying to load. I get no error messages and document does
load and I can edit without any problems.

Anyone have any thoughts on what could be causing this?
