I have a doc that I need to put the same info in several places.
What I have done is to use a form field to input the data and bookmarked it as, say "Name" I've then used a mailmerge field {REF Name} in the other places I need the info to be entered. This works fine EXCEPT if there is a space in the form field entry. In this case, in the merge field, the part before the space is in regular font and the part after the space is in Bold font. Both fields are formatted to regular font. Eg JohnSmith comes out in the merge field all in regular font and John Smith comes out as John in regular and Smith in bold. I'm using Word 2K on a Windows 2K machine. Anyone got any ideas how to get the answer all in regular font, even with spaces in it. Henry |
