Default MS Word Table Formulas??

i have a simple table in ms word 2000. i need to subtract cell F2 from Cell
E2 and have the answer show up with a dollar sign as well. i can't seem to
perform this in ms word. any help on this would very much be appreciated

Try the formula field

{ =(e2-f2) \# $,#.00 } where the field delimiters { } are entered with
CTRL+F9.

In the cell where you want the result to appear, enter

{ = E2 - F2 \# "$,0.00$,0.00)" }

Where the { } are inserted by using Ctrl+F9, Alt+F9 is used to toggle off
the display of field codes and F9 is used to update the field so that it
shows the result of the calculation.
