Hello there. When I try to do a find and replace by pressing Ctrl+Home and
Ctrl+H, I don't always get the find and replace feature to work in headers and footers. Why is that? Do I need to write a macro to ensure that headers and footers get included all the time in find and replace? Thanks. |

If the content you are trying to replace in your headers/footers also
appears in the body of the document, is it amenable to using the StyleRef field to put it in the header/footer? Then when it is replaced in the body, that change will be reflected in the header/footer. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
