My AutoCorrects don't work in two new files received from someone I receive
Word files from frequently. My AutoCorrects work in other files just fine.
What has happened to cause this, and what can be done to fix it?

AutoCorrect is language dependent, so if the text in the new files does not
have the correct language applied, AC will not work.

To test, go to Tools | Language, and see what comes up selected. Those are
the settings for the cursor location. To fix, ctrl-a to select all and
apply a Language.

I assume you *are* typing new text into these files, right? AC only works
on new text as you type, not retroactively.
