Having trouble navigating when I insert a numbered list into table cells
How do I add new text and change the level of the entry (eg, 1 (a) ii)

Outline-numbered lists work the same way in tables as in ordinary text. If
you've been using Tab and Shift+Tab to demote and promote levels, then you
can try Ctrl+Tab and (maybe) Ctrl+Shift+Tab. Alt+Shift+Left/Right Arrow
should work as well.

Doug, if everything else fails, you can make use of the ListIndent and
ListOutdent commands to change numbering levels. Locate them in
ToolsCustomize and then drag them to a toolbar or assign keyboard
shortcuts to them.
