I would like to mail merge a protected form. The idea being to get some info
back from the recipients. As in they fill in the form and email it back to me. I would think that I should send as attachement. However when you 'Protect form' all the mail merge options grey out, and I can not emial it out. Please help as to how best I can achieve this goal. Many Thanks |

Mail merge and a protected document with formfields are incompatible as you
have experienced. You could send the formdocument as an attachment to an email merge by following the instructions in the article "Mail Merge to E-mail with Attachments" at: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MailMerge/...ttachments.htm -- Hope this helps. Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis. Doug Robbins - Word MVP "Patrick" wrote in message ...
