Default Text Wrapping Problems

Carbonite wrote:
*I've been given a word document by a fellow member of staff who is
having problems with a particular column of a table that he has set
up for students to type information into. Our college uses MS Word
2002 with SP2 installed.

The problem is that you can type as much as you like into the column
from the top of the first page but when you reach the bottom of the
column (and the point where it should follow over to the top of the
next page) it carries on writing infinitely but the text is not
visible either in the next page's column or at the bottom of the
column on page 1.

I fixed the problem by right clicking the column and selecting "Table
Properties" and then selecting "Wrap Around" under the text wrapping
field in the options dialogue that comes up. However on closer
inspection when you type to the bottom of the column on page 1 the
text does go to the next page's corresponding column but if you then
scroll back up to check what you have written on page 1 and then
scroll back down to page 2 the text on page 2 disappears!

You also cannot click or place the cursor anywhere in the second
page's column; the cursor will appear in the column to the right of
it but not in the first column.

Any help welcome as this has stumped all of us. *

Carbonite,
Click in your column, go to Table - Table properties - Row tab - see if
there is an axact measurement in inches/cm applied, if so click on the
listarrow next to row height and choose at least.
Does that help?
