how do I design and save a theme in Word>
I've made a letterhead design with static graphics that i want to save as my
default theme. How do i save this as a theme? |

You can save it as a template.

Ok. So I save it as a template. Then what? How do I tell Word to accept that

You can put a shortcut to your template on the desktop and use that shortcut
