i have a document that has several sections. i have to merge it to a new
document in order to run a macro on it. once the document has been merged the headers and footers alter from the original document. for example the footer on the last section appears on the first page of the first section of the second merged record. what can be done to stop this from happening? |

You will need to set the "Different first page" option appropriately.
