We typically put many hyperlinks into our specification documents.
Most of us are using Word 2003. All of these documents reside on our network in various folders. Sometimes, we will hyperlink to another document and then to a bookmark in that document. The problem that occurs is that at some point after inserting the hyperlink, the hyperlinks no longer are pointing to the network location for the document and have, instead, the path of the person's documents and settings\application data\ on their C drive. It still has the true name of the document we hyperlinked to, but the path is now messed up and of course won't open any document when used. How can we stop the hyperlink from changing? Thank you in advance for any assistance. |
