Default table autoformat

If I create a custom format for a table is it imbedded in the template or
the document?

Hi Merv-

It depends. AutoFormats for tables are actually saved as Styles, so they are
handled much the same way. If the Style is created in a template it is
automatically available in any docs based on the template. If the Style is
created in a doc it is specific to that doc _unless_ you put a check in the
'Add to template' checkbox when you create it. If you do check the box the
Style is added to Normal.dot (or whatever template the current doc is based
on) and included in any docs based on it.
