Default ENVELOPS DON'T PRINT

Don't know what is wrong, regular pages from any other app print fine.

But when I do the "print envelop" it all looks good and the envelop feeds
fine, but then comes out blank (from my 8 year old HP 4M).

What must I be missing? Again, EVERYTHING else prints fine!

There's probably a printer setting you're overlooking.

If you insert a whole piece of paper and lie to the computer and say you're
printing an envelope, does something print? If so, then it's either a matter
of a printer setting. In Word, check File - Print - Properties. There should
be a setting for paper source. Make sure it's set correctly. There should
also be a setting for Page Size (probably in a different tab from paper
source). Make sure it's set corerctly as well.

Yes, with an it does print the address on an 81/2 x 11 piece of paper "down"
on the "bottom" of the page (holding it landscape, as if it were an envelop).

I see all the options in the envelops and labels menu, from which I print,
and I have it so that the option is "face up" with feed on the left side of
the feed area. (HP 4M printer) But it prints as if it were on the
bottom....(the rightmost option). The type of envelop 8.5 x 11 and all that
seems fine. It prints the same (on the page) if I try the right feed option.
THe envelop won't feed to the right as the trip in the printer is only on the
left....

This always worked fine before XP Pro.

I wonder if HP might have an updated printer driver that fixes the problem.

Thanks, but HP doesn't seem to have any downloads for this....
