My secretary's WORD homegrown templates from her old Windows 98SE system
need to be transferred in to a new PC using XP. I cannot find a path to where they should be stored. i.e. there is no visible folder for "application data". Where should I put them so that they will show up when basing a new document upon a template? |

Look for *.dot files. Or, open Word, hit Tools--Options, File locations
tab, and find the location for user templates. ************ Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com "Jeremy" wrote in message ... In Windows XP, the user templates folder (the path to which is given on the
File Locations tab of Tools | Options) is a hidden folder. You must set Windows to display hidden or system files and folders. -- Suzanne S.
