Default how to get word to speak a document

I have read that there is a way to get Word to read a document out loud -
useful for proof reading a document. I a not interested is speech
recognition for creating a document, only for reading it back out loud. Does
anyone lknow how to do this?

It depends on what version of Word/Windows you're using. Assuming you have
the right version(s), right-click a blank area in the Windows task bar,
choose Toolbars, and see if Language bar is checked. If not, then click to
to turn the language bar on. If the language bar now appears to the left of
the system tray (probably as EN) rather than in the current window's title
bar, click the EN (or whatever two letters are shown), and choose Show the
language bar.

Now, open a Word document. Select some text, and click Speak in the language
bar. Note that Speak works only in selected applications. If you're using
Word 2002 or 2003, it should work (it does here, at least).
