(WORD) Nuclear symbols
For chemistry, I have a convert hyphen notation like Carbon-12 to standard
where the mass number is superscript to the left of the name and the atomic number is subscript to the left of the name. In this form, the mass number is directly above the atomic number. Is this possible? If so, please tell me how to do it. |

Yes, it _is_ possible with the font size, character spacing, sub- and super-
scripting and/or base line of the numbers but it is a LOT of messing about. You can do it much more easily with the Equation Editor. Insert Object Microsoft Equation. I'm not very familiar with it but there is a toolbar full of options including sub- and super- script templates which should work for you. -- Enjoy, Tony "Austin" wrote in message ...
