Word XP Printing Problems
I hope I'm posting to the right place. I cannot get files, new or saved, to
print in Word XP. When I click print, the hourglass comes up and hangs until I hit control/alt/delete. After doing that, the task manager comes up and states that the file is not responding. The same files will print in notepad as will files saved under other programs. I get no error messages, nor are there any in the View Error Log in Help and Support. My computer system is an HP a824n - purchased last March, and my printer is a Lexmark 810 series - also purchased in March. All drivers have been updated. I hope someone can give me a hand. Thank you! |

Hi,
Do you mean Word? (word is one of the software components that Microsoft Office has) or Windows XP? The best solution for this error problem will be to install your printer again. Go to Control Panel, select Printers and other Hardware, then select add a printer, you will be prompt to the add printer wizard, follow the instructions. Hope this helps -- dicipula97 "KC" wrote: I hope I'm posting to the right place. I cannot get files, new or saved, to print in Word XP.
