I have a text form field in a document (calculate on exit box checked).
Later in the document, I have inserted a reference field that refers to that text form field. When I type something into the text form field and press Tab, the reference field updates with the new info, but only the first word retains the formatting I have set up for the reference field. After the spacebar, all the other words lose any special formatting (underline, for instance). How can I get Word to extend the formatting beyond the spacebar? Example: 2-page document; page 1 is a form submitted to HR, page 2 is a certificate. User fills out the HR form and a few things (emp. name, dept.) are transferred to the fancy certificate on page 2. However, only the employee's first name retains the large, cursive font. The last name defaults to Arial. |
