Default How do I include multiple database records in one letter?

I'm trying to create letters to parents that include their child's name and
the grades for all of their classes. The grades are in an Access database
query. Each record contains ParentName, ChildName, Class and Grade. Since
each child takes several classes, there are multiple records for each of the
hundreds of children in the database. If I do a regular mail merge, it
generates a letter for each class/grade resulting in 5 or 6 letters per child
instead of one. How do I create a list of grades in the each letter?

Word does not really have the ability to perform a "multiple items per
condition (=key field)" mailmerge.

See the "Group Multiple items for a single condition" item on fellow MVP
Cindy Meister's website at

Or take a look at the following Knowledge Base Article
