Default Mailmerge help please

Using excel, or csv, text file which are names, addresses and phone numbers
is their a way to merge into word so that you end up with name, address,
phone # in one column (left). Similar to labels, only all in one column?
( no columns really, just left margin)The final goal is an addressbook for a
country club. ex: Thanks very much, Frank

This is a simple catalog/directory merge. Enter the fields once, set the
document type to directory/catalog and merge to a new document.
