Default Keyboard Shortcuts For Bold, Italic etc...

Hi, When using Contol & B when typing a word document sometimes it works and
sometimes I have to type the word first then highlight it & press control B
to make it bold. Same applies to other shortcut keys. This seems to be an
intermitant fault but can get bad at times in variuos documents.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Allan.

If you move your insertion point with the arrow keys or the mouse before you
start to type you'll switch your command off.
