![]() I am getting an error the following error when opening a word file, which contains linked charts from an excel file. "A document with the name 'filename.xls' is already open. You cannot open two documents with the same name, even if the documents are in different folders. To open the second document, either close the document that's currently open, or rename one of the documents." The document is definitely not open already, and the error appears twice, followed by one of these: "Objects in this document contain links to files that cannot be found. The linked information will not be updated." There are two charts, on two sheets in the excel workbook. When double clicking on them from the word document, they both open in Excel, from the proper excel file. I'm thinking there must be something else thats linked in the word file, is there any way to search for that, something similar to the FindLink add-in for excel? -- dgundrum |
