Everytime I try to print an envelope in Word, it prints out in a reddish
color. Even if I go in and manually change the font to black. My Labels will print black, and my document prints black. Only my envelopes are affected. Help please. |

For reasons unknown, some inkjet printers seem to use a composite black
(made up of the inks in the color cartridge) instead of true black for envelopes. The color you're getting suggests that your color cartridge is running low on one of its colors (presumably cyan). -- Suzanne S. Thank you for your answer. The Ink cartridges are not the issue
unfortunately. They are fairly new. Also, it is ONLY in the envelope feature that this problem occurs. Labels print fine, and documents print fine. Any other suggestions would be very appreciated. Thank you. "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: For reasons unknown, some inkjet printers seem to use a composite black (made up of the inks in the color cartridge) instead of true black for envelopes. As my previous reply stated, some printers use composite black for envelopes
only; this does not affect other types of paper. -- Suzanne S.
