I am trying to merge to an access database which contains one static and
several linked tables. When it opens up the copy of access it says that it
cannot find the DDE connection. I assume that it is trying to open up the
data links. Why is this a problem as the database runs fine with its links
and as i only want to link to the static table does it have to go through the
startup procedure of linking in the tables. This happens because the opening
form is based on the liked data
