If you mean that you need to get the data from multiple records into the
table, then "no", not directly. You could use a catalog (or in Word XP and
later it is called directory) type mailmerge to create the table and then
copy and paste it into your other document. To do this, in the catalog or
directory mail merge main document, insert the names of the merge fields
into the cells of one row table. Then when you execute that merge to a new
document, you will get a table containing a row of data for each record in
the data source.

If, as I suspect however, you may be talking about a multiple items per
condition type of operation,
Word does not really have the ability to perform a "multiple items per
condition (=key field)" mailmerge.

Or, if you create a Catalog (on in Word XP and later, it's called Directory)
type mailmerge main document with the mergefields in the cells of a one row
table in the mailmerge main document with the keyfield in the first cell in
the row and then execute that merge to a new document and then run the
following macro, it will create separate tables with the records for each
key field in them. With a bit of further development, you may be able to
get it to do what you want.
