every time i use word to write a letter a box appears in centre of screen
telling me i have run out of time before i have finished letter.how can i
change this?

This is not a function of Word. Is it possible that it is telling you that
your trial version has expired?

Either your trial version expired OR you purchased the full version, but you forgot/didn't activate it.
