have two problems with Indexing -
1. it appears duplicate entries are not being removed from same page when index being created. 2. where a large number of entries for same word in doc, the index has created page numbers across page as wanted, but also has created a singe line list, with page numbers again repeated, below each other. Can anyone assist with this please? Thanks |

Hi ?B?U2FuZHk=?=,
Which version of Word is involved? How have you generated the index? By inserting the entries manually, or using an automatic feature? You do need to be VERY careful that index entries are spelled EXACTLY the same, otherwise Word will create a separate entry, on a new line. have two problems with Indexing - 1. it appears duplicate entries are not being removed from same page when index being created. 2. where a large number of entries for same word in doc, the index has created page numbers across page as wanted, but also has created a singe line list, with page numbers again repeated, below each other.
