I have found in Word 2003 that the current date being displayed in a test
form field created with the Forms tool bar is incorrect. The date displayed is the creation date and not the current date. Anybody know of a solution? |

Are you sure that you're simply not updating the field? If you print
preview, does it display the current date? ************ Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com "Bev,SIUSOM" wrote in message ... It seems that someone used the Create Date field instead of the Date Field.
If you can unprotect the form document you can change the field by deleting the current field and then inserting a date field. I hope this helps you! You're right. I didn't realize it wouldn't update. It did in earlier
versions. After a print preview is opened and closed the date is correct and prints correctly as well. Thanks. "Anne Troy" wrote: Are you sure that you're simply not updating the field? If your form is a template, and you create a new document based on the form,
what happens? What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form."
