Default Table Notes

I have an engineer who wants the notes directly under the table to be
indented directly under the left side of the tables which are justified
center so the left side of the table varies. Besides putting it in the last
table row and merging the fields (which causes problems), is there any other
way to get the Notes to move with the left side of the table?

Default Table Notes

I am not sure where the "merging the fields" comes into this, but if I
wanted to do that, I would add a row to the table to contain the notes and
merge all of the cells in that row, and select the cell and remove the side
and bottom borders via FormatBorders and Shading.

Hope this helps.

Default Table Notes

Putting the notes in a merged, borderless bottom row is the only effective
way I know of to do this.

Doug:

When I said "fields", I meant to say "cells". Sorry. It looks like both
you and Suzanne are telling me the only thing to do is what the engineer is
already doing. Thanks anyways.
