Footnotes are copying on every page
I'm trying to use footnotes to reference things on an essay but I put in a
reference at the bottom of one page and every footnote automatically contains the same thing. When I go to delete the others, the one I wanted disappears. I've been to Help, and it says I need to use the Same as Previous button, but I can't get this because my document isn't in sections and I don't know how to make sections. I would be grateful for any help! |

Sounds like you are inserting a footer, when you are really
trying to insert a footnote. Click on Insert | Reference | Footnote.
