Default how to unlock document in word 2003

My trial for 2003 has ended and all the doc that I created are locked up.
How can I unlock my doc without activating word 2003.

It seem very unfair to have to buy a product just to get my work back.

You need to pay for Office. The trial version is just that - a *trial*
version. After it expires, you need to figure out which edition of Office
best suits your needs. You're looking at anywhere between $150 to $500.

If all you really need is Word, you can get Works Suite 2006 for about $100
however that will get you the next to latest version of Word (2002) instead
of the latest version (2003).
