Reference Excel data in a Word document
I have about 80 separate Word documents each containing one field that
occasionally needs to be updated. As opposed to opening each one to change the fields, is there a way to create an Excel file with all the updates and have the Word document reference the Excel file to automatically update when changes are made? |

Henry,
If you have set up the Excel file with the appropriate information, copy the cell containing the information in Excel, place your cursor in the Word document where you need the information, and click Edit Paste Special Paste Link. It will update the document when you open it. Brandie "Henry" wrote: I have about 80 separate Word documents each containing one field that occasionally needs to be updated.
